Old Catalogues.

Tradition of London and Tradition Scandinavian of course. I 'accidentally' bought a copy of an up to date Tradition catalogue which arrived today. It's a handsome beast– with rather dodgy grammar. I say accidentally because I was actually trying to buy just the pdf version and pressed the wrong button. By the time I'd realised my mistake, I thought, hang it, I'll have a real one. I know some people collect old catalogues, and I can see the draw, but I think I'll resist the pull. Mind you, just browsing through the catalogue is a joy in and of itself. It definitely brings pangs of nostalgia! I think nearly all of these figures are by the late and great Charles Stadden. It's nice to see them all painted and somehow easier to spot gaps in ranges that might need filling from elsewhere if you were trying to build an army to wargame with. This is just the Tradition 30mm wargaming range. They produce many more catalogues for all of the other stuff they have. Hmm, now I written this I'm thinking I might re-assess my self-imposed ban on aquiring old catalogues.
